GOING TO THE BLACKALL SHOW
Get ready for a weekend of competition and excitement, all built on the foundations of the traditional carnival atmosphere. Visitors to the region are encouraged to join in the fun by attending both the opening night Cultural Pavilion presentations on Friday, as well as the Show Day on Saturday.
WHERE DO WE BUY TICKETS?
There are no "tickets" to attend the Show, rather there is a gate entry fee on
Saturday for all visitors to the grounds. Gate fees are as follows:
ADULT 18+ ENTRY $10.00
PENSIONERS $5.00
CHILDREN U18 ENTRY FREE
SHOW MEMBERS FREE ENTRY
WHERE DO WE PARK CARS/CARAVANS?
Free parking is available outside of the showgrounds - along Salvia Street - with no vehicles/caravans/trucks authorised to park within the showgrounds over the weekend of the show. Exhibitors may enter via the main entrance gate on the mornings from 6:00am, however all vehicles (excluding camping) must then be removed from the showgrounds by 8:00am.
Large exhibitor or competitor trucks only may enter via the second entrance gate.
WHERE DO WE STAY?
As a friendly outback town, Blackall offers excellent hospitality while staying within our community; with choices ranging from motels, local pubs and caravan parks, to camping on the Barcoo River. Accommodation can be limited, so visitors arriving over the Show Weekend are advised to book ahead for the best experience.
