GOING TO THE BLACKALL SHOW

Get ready for a weekend of competition and excitement, all built on the foundations of the traditional carnival atmosphere. Visitors to the region are encouraged to join in the fun by attending both the opening night Black Tie Ball on Friday, as well as the Show Day on Saturday.

WHERE DO WE BUY TICKETS?

Gate entry for the entire weekend is FREE.

Tickets can be purchased for selected special events (e.g. Show Ball) on the day

WHERE DO WE PARK CARS/CARAVANS?

General parking is available outside of the showgrounds - along Salvia Street - with no vehicles/caravans/trucks authorised to park within the showgrounds over the weekend of the show. Exhibitors may enter via the second entrance gate on the mornings before 8:00 am, however all vehicles must then be removed from the showgrounds.

Horse competitors camping on the grounds may enter via the second entrance gate only.

WHERE DO WE STAY?

As a friendly outback town, Blackall offers excellent hospitality while staying within our community; with choices ranging from motels, local pubs and caravan parks, to camping on the Barcoo River. Accommodation can be limited, so visitors arriving over the Show Weekend are advised to book ahead for the best experience.
